In 2018, KY passed legislation that requires financial literacy in public schools, but at the time, no curriculum on this subject existed. The Danny Dollar Academy was created to promote financial literacy and entrepreneurship for 3rd-6th graders and has been so successful, it has been implemented across six states. Gifts will help NKU expand this program to more classrooms and teach young entrepreneurs the skills they need to make their dreams a reality.
