Can I receive multiple pairs of socks?

Donors will be recognized with one pair of socks for gifts of $68 or more to NKU Founders' Day. For questions about socks, please reach out to annualgiving@nku.edu or (859) 572-5489. 

What if I want to give to a campus area or cause that is not listed? 

If you do not see your specific campus area or cause in the drop-down menu, please select "Other." You will be prompted to type the designation for your donation. If you have questions about your gift, please reach out to annualgiving@nku.edu or (859) 572-5489. 

I want to give to a specific area, but I don't know what to write in "Other." 

If you are unsure of the name of the scholarship or program you wish to support, please contact annualgiving@nku.edu or (859) 572-5489.  

I am struggling to make a gift. What do I do?

If you are having issues making a gift, first clear your cache on your web browser or try making the gift on your phone. If you continue to have issues, you may make a gift through our alternative page or call (850) 572-6062 to make your gift over the phone.

Is my gift tax-deductible? 

Yes. All philanthropic contributions to NKU are tax-deductible as allowed by law. Please consult your tax professional with any questions if you elected to receive any giveaway items related to your contribution.

Will I receive a receipt for my contribution? 

Yes. We will send you a receipt for your contribution shortly after you make your gift. 

 

If you receive one of the giveaways during the day, you will receive a form to complete indicating the value of the prize for tax purposes. 

Is my payment secure?

Yes. Our website is secure and we do not store credit card information. Please do not include credit card information in any email or voicemail message. 

Can I send a gift by mail or phone? 

Yes. However, due to the time limitations of NKU Founders' Day, only gifts made by 4:48 p.m. on March 5 will count toward overall totals and completions. You can make your gift on March 4 and 5 by calling (850) 572-6062. 

Is there a minimum donation required to participate in NKU Founders' Day? 

Gifts of all sizes are encouraged and will automatically enter you to win a number of prizes throughout the day.* 

 

*No donation required to enter. Register by mailing us your information that includes your name, address and phone number, and indicate that you wish to be entered into the Founders' Day giveaways. Please mail to Northern Kentucky University, Office of Annual Giving, 5320 Campus Drive, AC 239, Highland Heights, KY 41099. Must be received by March 5 to be entered. 

Will my gift count toward priority seating access or season tickets for NKU Basketball games?

NKU Founders' Day gifts will not count toward priority seating access or season tickets for NKU Basketball games.
